Apple Crisp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 tart apples
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. lemon juice
3/4 c. sifted flour
1 c. oatmeal
8 Tbsp. butter
1/4 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Peel, core and slice apples.
Add 1/2 cup sugar (reserve remaining 1/2 cup sugar), cloves, cinnamon and lemon juice, mixing well.
Pour into
buttered casserole.
Then mix the flour, remaining 1/2 cup sugar, oatmeal and butter to crumbly consistency in a separate bowl.
Add nuts, then sprinkle mixture over apple mixture in casserole dish.
Bake 35 minutes at 350\u00b0 or until apples are tender and crust browned.
Serve with ice cream or whipped cream while hot.
