Southwest Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground chuck or ground turkey
    1 c. diced onion
    1 (15 oz.) can whole kernel corn
    1 can pinto beans
    1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
    3/4 c. water
    1 (16 oz.) jar picante sauce
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    salt and pepper to taste
    shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Brown beef or turkey with onion.
    Drain and add to meat the corn and pinto beans.
    Add water, tomatoes, picante sauce, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, salt and pepper.
    Serve with shredded cheese.
