Colombian Huevos Rancheros - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 Tbsp. olive oil
    5 to 6 medium size yellow onions, sliced thinly
    5 to 6 medium size tomatoes, sliced thinly
    6 slices (1/2-inch thick) tenderloin steak
    6 eggs
    salt and pepper to taste (if desired)
Preparation
    Take a large 12-inch cast-iron skillet.
    Put in olive oil. Saute the onions.
    Remove from pan.
    Layer onions and tomatoes back into pan in alternate layers.
    (Reserve enough to make 1 final layer.)
    Arrange the steaks on these layers, topping the steaks with the remaining onions and tomatoes.
    Bake this at 350\u00b0 until the meat is done to degree desired.
    Remove skillet from oven to medium-hot stove.
    Break one egg onto each steak.
    When the eggs are cooked, serve as dinner or brunch.
