Maw-Maw'S Sour Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs, separated
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. plain flour
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/2 lb. butter, softened
    8 oz. sour cream
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Beat egg whites and set aside.
    Cream butter and sugar together.
    Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Add soda.
    Add flour one cup at a time; beat well after each addition.
    Add sour cream; beat well.
    Add egg whites; beat well.
    Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour until top is golden brown.
