Taffy Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 c. diced Granny Smith or Red Delicious apples
    20 oz. can crushed pineapple
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 eggs
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    8 oz. Cool Whip
    2 c. dry roasted peanuts, crushed
Preparation
    Drain pineapple (save juice). Mix flour, sugar and juice in saucepan. Cook until thickened. Cool. Whip eggs in a cup. Add vinegar, then add to flour mixture and cook until thickened. When cool, add Cool Whip and pineapple; mix. Add diced apples and chopped peanuts; mix well. Store in refrigerator overnight.
