Caramel Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1/4 c. milk
    1 c. packed brown sugar
    2 c. powdered sugar
Preparation
    Melt butter in a 2-quart saucepan.
    Stir in brown sugar.
    Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
    Boil and stir over low heat for 2 minutes.
    Stir in 1/4 cup milk.
    Heat to boiling.
    Remove from heat.
    Cool to lukewarm.
    Gradually stir in powdered sugar.
    Place saucepan in bowl of cold water.
    Beat until smooth and spreading consistency.
