Never Fail Souffle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 slices bread
    6 eggs or egg substitute
    1 pt. milk
    1/2 lb. Old English cheese, sliced
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Remove crusts from bread and cube.
    In a medium casserole, alternate cheese slices and bread.
    Begin and end with bread. Beat together milk, eggs and salt.
    Pour over layers.
    Let stand overnight.
    Put casserole in a pan of hot water in a 400\u00b0 oven and bake for 45 minutes. Serves 8 to 10.
