Bavarian Sauerkraut - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 or more lb. sauerkraut
    2 large onions, thinly sliced
    1 lb. or more pork chops, browned and then cut into small pieces
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. caraway seed
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. beef broth
    1/2 to 1 c. beer
Preparation
    Saute onion in butter until soft.
    Rinse sauerkraut in warm water; drain.
    Combine sauerkraut, onion, pork pieces and rest of the ingredients in large pan.
    Cover and bake in oven at least 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
    Stir occasionally, and if needed, add a little more liquid.
