Smothered Steak Roll-Ups - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. thinly sliced round steak (1/4-inch thick)
    1 1/2 c. herb seasoned stuffing mix
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Cut steak into
    6 pieces (about 8 x 4-inch).
    Pound with meat hammer.
    Place 1/4 cup stuffing near center of each piece of meat. Roll up. Tuck in ends and fasten with toothpicks.
    Add soup and water. Cover and cook over low heat 1 1/4 hours or until tender. Stir now and then.
