Arlene And Laura'S Hamentashen - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. shortening (5 Tbsp. margarine)
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. honey
2 eggs
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
prune, apricot, apple or poppy seed butter (for filling)
Preparation

Cream the shortening with sugar and honey.
Add slightly beaten eggs and lemon juice.
In a separate bowl, mix together the dry ingredients.
Add shortening mixture to dry ingredients and blend well.
