Tea Cake Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. shortening
    2/3 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/4 c. self-rising flour
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar together.
    Add eggs and vanilla; mix well.
    Add flour.
    Make batter into 2 rolls and place in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
    Remove and slice them.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
