Cheese Apples - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. butter or margarine
1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
7 medium-sized tart apples, peeled and sliced
6 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Combine sugar, salt and flour; cut in butter until coarse crumbs form.
Mix in cheese and set aside.
Combine apples, water and lemon juice; toss lightly.
Spoon into a greased 8-inch square baking dish.
Sprinkle cheese mixture over apples and pat down gently.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
Serves 6 to 8.
