Chocolate Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs, separated
    1 c. sugar
    2 heaping Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 Tbsp. cocoa
    2 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. margarine
Preparation
    Beat egg yolks well.
    Stir into milk and eggs.
    Mix cocoa, cornstarch and sugar.
    Pour into egg mixture.
    Cook over medium heat until thick and leaves holes as it bubbles.
    Stir constantly or it will stick.
    When thick, remove from heat.
    Add margarine and vanilla.
    Mix well.
    Pour into baked 9-inch pie shell and top with meringue.
