Moulya - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 lb. roast beef
    2 large onions
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. allspice
    1/2 c. vinegar
    4 to 6 bay leaves
Preparation
    Cook roast beef until very tender (3 to 4 hours).
    Remove fat and pull apart into bite sized pieces.
    Add remaining ingredients. Simmer 3 to 10 hours and add salt and pepper to taste.
    Serve over raisin bread.
