White Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    2 c. light cream
    2 c. mashed cooked potatoes
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 (10-inch) pastry shell
    ground nutmeg
    toasted slivered almonds
Preparation
    Beat eggs slightly.
    Stir in cream, potatoes, sugar, vanilla and salt.
    (If using leftover seasoned potatoes, omit salt.)
    Beat until smooth.
    Pour into unbaked shell.
    Sprinkle with nutmeg.
