Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 c. light Karo syrup
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. margarine, melted
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. pecans
    1 unbaked pie shell
Preparation
    In a large bowl, stir together the first 5 ingredients until blended.
    Stir in 1 cup chopped pecans.
    Pour into pie shell.
    Add 1/2 cup pecan halves on top.
    Bake for 15 minutes at 400\u00b0, then reduce heat to 300\u00b0 and bake for 30 minutes.
