Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. sifted flour
5 Tbsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. salt
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 c. shortening
2 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 pkg. dry yeast
5 Tbsp. lukewarm water
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Mix all dry ingredients.
Cut in shortening. Add milk and yeast.
Knead lightly.
Cut out and bake at 450\u00b0 on greased sheet, or store in tight plastic container in refrigerator and use as needed for 1 to 1 1/2 weeks.
