Apple Fritters - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. powdered sugar
2 apples, cut in small pieces
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 c. milk
Preparation

Mix together the
flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Add the milk to
the
beaten
egg and stir in the dry ingredients, then stir in
the
bits
of apple.\tDrop the batter into hot fat by\tspoonfuls
and\tlet
fry until delicately browned. Drain on paper towels.
Serve with powdered sugar or jelly.
