Peach Jam Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/3 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    3/4 c. peach jam
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Mix flour, salt, soda, cinnamon and nutmeg.
    Beat in a large mixing bowl the sugar and shortening until light and fluffy.
    Beat in eggs one at a time.
    Add peach jam and vanilla; mix well.
    Add flour mixture and buttermilk alternately to creamed mixture; beat well.
    Pour into 2 greased and floured loaf pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
