Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yellow cake mix
    2 small pkg. vanilla instant pudding
    1 can cherry or strawberry pie filling
    1 large can chunk or crushed pineapple
    1 c. pecan halves (garnish)
    1 large container Cool Whip
Preparation
    Prepare pudding as directed on package.
    Bake cake as directed on box. Cool completely. Crumble and set aside.
    Drain pineapple. Put half the crumbled cake in bottom of a large bowl.
    Layer in half the pudding, pie filling and pineapple until all gone. Top with Cool Whip.
    Garnish with pecan halves.
