Cheesecake Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. butter or margarine, softened
    1/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. finely chopped walnuts
    1/4 c. granulated sugar
    1 large pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    In a large bowl of an electric mixer, beat butter and brown sugar until creamy.
    With a fork, blend in flour until mixture resembles fine crumbs.
    Stir in walnuts.
    Reserve 1 cup crumb mixture for topping.
    Press remainder firmly and evenly over bottom of a greased 8-inch square baking pan.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
