Ingredients

2 sticks oleo
6 eggs
7 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
2 c. milk (regular or low-fat)
1 small cake yeast or envelope
3 oz. cream cheese
1 c. raisins
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cook raisins in small amount of water and cool.
Let milk come to a boil; cool to lukewarm and pour into a bowl.
Crumble in yeast with 3 tablespoons sugar.
When yeast is dissolved, stir in 3 cups flour.
Mix together and let rise 1/2 hour away from draft or cold.
