Cream Of Tomato Bisque - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can tomatoes
    1 sliced onion
    1 tsp. sugar
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/3 c. butter
    1 qt. sweet milk
Preparation
    Cook the tomatoes, sugar and onion fifteen minutes.
    Press through colander, add soda and reheat.
    Make a white sauce of the other ingredients.
    Add tomatoes and remove from fire and serve at once.
