June Bugs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/8 tsp. red pepper
dash of paprika
25 pitted dates (6 oz.)
Preparation

Combine butter and cheese; beat until smooth.
Combine next 3 ingredients.
Add to cheese mixture; mix well.
Cut dates in half crosswise; wrap each half with dough.
Place on ungreased baking sheets; bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 to 18 minutes.
Cool on wire racks. Yield: 50 appetizers.
