Spring Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can peas, drained well
    1 can French Style beans, drained well
    1 large onion, sliced thin
    1 large cucumber, sliced thin
    1 c. celery, sliced thin
    5/8 c. Crisco oil
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. tarragon vinegar
    5/8 c. sugar
Preparation
    For best results, marinate salad for several hours before using, overnight, if possible.
