Spaghetti With Clam Sauce (White) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (7 1/2 oz.) cans minced clams
1/4 c. lite olive oil
1/4 c. butter or margarine
2/3 clove crushed garlic
2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 (8 oz.) pkg. spaghetti
grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Drain clams and save juice; set aside.
In skillet, slowly heat oil and butter.
Add garlic and saute until golden.
Remove from heat.
Stir in clam liquid, parsley and salt and bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer uncovered for 10 minutes.
Add clams; simmer for 3 minutes.
Serve hot over hot spaghetti with Parmesan cheese. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
