Stuffed Bell Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large peppers
    1 tsp. salt
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 c. bread crumbs
    2 well beaten eggs
    1 medium onion, chopped
    dash of pepper
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 can tomato sauce
    2 cans water
Preparation
    Cut peppers in half lengthwise; remove seeds and white part. Sprinkle with salt.
    Combine beef, crumbs, salt, eggs, onion and pepper.
    Fill cavities of peppers with meat mixture.
    Place in roasting pan; pour oil in pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 20 minutes to brown.
    Dilute tomato sauce with water in saucepan; heat on top of stove.
    Pour over browned peppers.
    Bake 45 minutes longer. Baste several times with sauce.
    Serves 12.
