Never Fail Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 c. shortening
    1 egg
    5 tsp. cold water
    1 tsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Combine flour and salt in a large bowl, cut in shortening. Combine egg, water and vinegar; mix well.
    Pour liquid ingredients into dry ones.
    Mix until flour is moistened and dough is easy to handle.
    Divide into 3 equal parts.
    Roll out one part at a time on a floured board.
    Dough may be covered and refrigerated for up to 1 week.
    Dough may also be frozen.
    Makes pastry for three 9-inch pies.
