Holiday Buffet Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. cured ham, very thinly sliced
    8 to 10 chicken breasts
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
    2 to 3 oz. Pet evaporated milk
    1 to 1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Line bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with ham slices. Place chicken breasts on ham.
