Pineapple Cheese Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. drained, crushed pineapple
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/3 c. lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. Knox gelatine, dissolved
    1/2 c. cold water
    1/2 c. grated cheese
    1/2 c. walnuts
    1/2 c. cream, whipped
Preparation
    Heat the pineapple. Add the sugar and lemon juice. Add gelatin dissolved in cold water.
    Cool mixture until it begins to thicken. Add cheese, walnuts and whipped cream.
    A few maraschino cherries may be added for color. Serves 8.
    Good with ham.
