Gator Tail - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. gator tail, cut into 1-inch cubes
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. beer
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    dash of garlic salt
    2 c. flour
    oil for deep frying
Preparation
    Marinate cubed gator tail in a mixture of buttermilk and beer for 1 hour or overnight.
    (Refrigerate.)
    Drain; coat with seasoned flour.
    Fry in deep fat over medium heat 10 minutes.
    Drain and serve.
