Scotch Shortbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 1/2 c. sifted flour
Preparation
    Mix butter with sugar.
    Add flour.
    Mix with hands.
    Chill. Roll out 1/2-inch.
    Cut and bake on ungreased sheet at 300\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Tops will not brown.
    Makes 2 dozen.
