Muskingum Chocolate Dew Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sifted cake flour
1 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. cold water
1 c. mayonnaise (or salad dressing)
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Sift first 5 ingredients together several times.
Mix cold water and mayonnaise well.
Stir in dry ingredients.
Add vanilla. Pour into 2 (8-inch) cake pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Test with a toothpick.
