English Pea Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 303) can English peas, drained
    3 boiled eggs, sliced
    1 small jar pimiento, chopped
    1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
    bread crumbs
Preparation
    In bottom of a greased 1-quart casserole dish, put half of the peas, then half of the sliced eggs, half of pimiento and half of the cheese.
    Repeat, using the rest of each of these four ingredients.
    Dilute the soup according to the directions on the can for making a sauce.
    Pour over the layers in the casserole dish.
    Sprinkle the bread crumbs over the top.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for about 20 minutes or until bubbly.
    Serves 6 to 8.
