Chocolate Pecan Pie Bars - cooking recipe

1 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. packed light brown sugar, divided
1/2 c. butter or margarine
2 eggs
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/4 c. Hershey's cocoa
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. coarsely chopped pecans
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
In medium bowl, stir together flour and 2 tablespoons brown sugar.
Cut in 1/2 cup butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs; press onto bottom and about 1-inch up sides of 9-inch square baking pan.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until set.
With back of spoon, lightly press crust into corners and against sides of pan.
