Kentucky Bourbon Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

3 (1 lb. 2 oz.) cans sweet potatoes
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. bourbon
1/2 c. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. miniature marshmallows (or more)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Melt butter in a large skillet.
Add drained potatoes and remaining ingredients except marshmallows. Mash and beat until smooth.
Butter a 2-quart shallow baking dish. Pour mixture into dish.
Bake, uncovered, until hot.
Add marshmallows and put under broiler until golden and melted.
