Louisiana Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. pinto beans
1 chopped onion
2 bay leaves
1 tsp. chili powder
1 lb. hot sausage
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
-
Add water and all ingredients except sausage and simmer for 3 hours.
Fry the hot sausage; drain.
Add to the beans and cook 1 hour longer.
