24 Hour Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg yolks
    1/4 c. cream
    juice of 2 lemons
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 can pineapple chunks, drained
    2 c. Queen Anne cherries, drained
    1 c. blanched shredded almonds
    1 pkg. miniature marshmallows
    1 c. whipping cream, whipped
    1/2 lb. seedless grapes
Preparation
    Cook first 5 ingredients in double boiler until thickened. Stir constantly until thick.
    Chill, then add remaining ingredients.
    Chill salad for at least 24 hours.
