Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 c. self-rising flour
1 c. cooking oil
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
3 c. fresh, peeled, diced apples
1/2 c. raisins
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Beat together first 7 ingredients until blended.
Then, with a large spoon, add last 3 ingredients.
Pour into a well-greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan or tube pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes in 9 x 13-inch pan; 45 minutes to 1 hour in tube pan.
A glaze may be used, if desired.
