Hot Packed Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    apples
    vinegar
    salt
    sugar
Preparation
    Wash, pare, half and core apples.
    Drop in vinegar and salt water.
    Boil equal parts of sugar and water together.
    Rinse apples that have been soaking.
    Add to hot syrup.
    Cook 5 minutes. Pack in jars, overlapping layers.
    Place jars in hot water bath for 15 minutes.
