Stewed Wild Duck Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 ducks, chopped into serving chunks
    2 chopped onions
    1 c. Claret pepper
    1 slice minced ham
    2 cloves garlic
    1 sprig thyme
    2 sprigs parsley
    1 c. boiling water
    1 minced bay leaf
Preparation
    Rub ducks with salt and pepper.
    Place onions and butter in a pot.
    Cook until dark brown.
    Add ducks, ham, garlic, parsley, thyme and bay leaf.
    Cook for 3 minutes.
    Add Claret; cook 10 minutes, cooking instantly; add water.
    Cook slowly for 1 hour until tender.
    Serves 8.
