Cantaloupe Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 baked pie shells
    3 c. diced cantaloupe
    6 egg yolks
    6 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 1/2 c. canned milk
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 stick oleo
Preparation
    Cover diced cantaloupe with water; cook until tender.
    Drain excess juice off and measure 3 cups.
    Pour into large saucepan. Add milk and other ingredients (except vanilla and oleo).
    Cook until thick.
    Add vanilla and oleo.
    Pour into baked pie shells. Top with meringue (made with egg whites) and brown in moderate oven.
