Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
    2/3 c. evaporated milk (Use Pet or Carnation evaporated milk only)
    1 box German chocolate cake mix
    3/4 c. softened margarine
    1 c. pecans or walnuts
    1 (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate pieces
Preparation
    Combine caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk.
    Melt in top of double boiler.
    Stir until mixture is melted.
    Combine cake mix and remaining milk, as well as the softened margarine.
    Blend until mixture holds together well.
    Stir in nuts.
    Press half of cake mix in greased 13 x 9-inch pan and bake for 6 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over the top evenly.
    Then pour melted caramel mixture evenly over top, adding remaining cake mix.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
