Banana Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    6 c. hot water
    1 (46 oz.) can orange juice
    1 (46 oz.) can pineapple juice
    5 large bananas
    juice from 2 lemons
    2 qt. ginger ale
Preparation
    Melt sugar in hot water.
    Cool and mix syrup with orange and pineapple juice.
    Mash, then blend, the bananas and the juice from 2 lemons.
    Mix all ahead of time and freeze (you can use the juice cans to freeze in or two Ziploc gallon size).
    About 3 to 4 hours before serving, remove from freezer and mash out lumps.
    Pour ginger ale over frozen mixture to serve.
    Good for open house, weddings and showers.
    Can be colored with food coloring.
