Spiced Pecans - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 c. water
1/4 c. light corn syrup
2 c. pecan halves
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Butter 2 cookie sheets.
Combine sugar, salt, allspice and cinnamon.
Stir in water and corn syrup.
Cook over medium heat until 235\u00b0 on candy thermometer (soft ball water test).
Add nuts and vanilla; stir until thickens.
Coat pecan halves; place on cookie sheets and separate pieces.
