Pork Chops With Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 pork chops
    1 c. rice, uncooked
    1 can consomme
    1 c. water
    1 large onion, sliced
    1 bell pepper, cut in strips
    1 large tomato, sliced
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Brown pork chops
    on both sides in a heavy skillet.
    In a 2 quart
    casserole
    dish
    place
    rice,
    water and soup.
    Lay chops on mixture\tand
    top
    each\twith sliced onion, strips of bell pepper
    and sliced tomatoes.
    Season to taste.
    Cover and bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
    Serves 4.
