Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 can fruit cocktail
1 flat can crushed pineapple
1 small can Carnation milk
1 pinch salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
Preparation

Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
Mix dry ingredients together.
Drain fruit cocktail; reserve juice.
Add eggs to juice; beat well. Drain pineapple; dispose of juice.
Add egg mix to dry mix; mix well.
Add fruit and mix well.
Pour into ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake 1 hour.
Mix 1 1/2 cups sugar, milk and butter together.
Bring to boil and add vanilla.
Pour over all ready cut cake.
Serve.
