Taffy Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. red Delicious apples, peeled and cubed
    1/2 c. sugar
    8 oz. crushed pineapple, drained
    8 oz. Cool Whip
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
    1 c. salted dry roasted peanuts, crushed
Preparation
    Cook flour, pineapple, vinegar, sugar and egg over medium heat until thick.
    Cool in refrigerator.
    Cut up apples.
    Soak in salt water to keep fresh.
    Drain apples and mix with cooled sauce, Cool Whip and 1/2 peanuts.
    Top with remaining peanuts.
