Maandazi - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 c. oil
    lukewarm water
Preparation
    Mix flour, sugar and baking powder.
    Heat oil until it is warm and pour over the flour mixture.
    Mix well.
    Use enough lukewarm water to make a very firm dough.
    Roll out to about 1/4-inch thickness.
    Cut with a small round cookie cutter or cut in pieces about 1 x 1 1/2-inches.
    Cook in hot oil.
