Sheepherder'S Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. warm water
3 pkg. dry yeast
2 tsp. sugar
8 c. flour
3 c. warm water
1 Tbsp. salt
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water with sugar for 10 minutes.
Place all the flour and salt in a large bowl.
Add yeast mixture and rest of water.
Mix and knead for about 10 minutes. Place in large greased Dutch oven or cooking pan suitable for oven cooking with cover.
Let rise 1 hour.
Punch down and let rise again for 1/2 hour.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 1 hour and 10 minutes with cover on or until done.
